The ingestion, that is taking of food in amoeba is through false feet.

In the paramoecium through cilia the food particles are ingested through cytosome.

the type of nutrition that we see in amoeba and paramoecium is holozoic. i.e they release some enzymes on the food particles that are out side. And those enzymes breakdown the complex one into simple ones and then takes in to their body through their respective ingestive parts

Amoeba

1. In amoeba, there is no any special organisation through which they can capture their prey or food. This means that amoeba can capture food from any region or any side or part of their body.

2. In them, there are appendeges which have structures like fingers called pseudopodia by which they catch the food substances.

Paramecium

1. They have specific region by which they can capture their prey, that is, through oral groove.

2. Cilia helps them in catching the food substances.
