Hello mate
here is your answer
In asexual reproduction, offsprings are produced by a single parent without the involvement of gamete formation and fusion. Thus offsprings resemble the parent genetically and morphologically. In sexual reproduction, fusion of gametes occur and fertilization and meiosis are essential events.

progeny simple means a future generation
the progeny formed by asexual differs form sexual progeny . progeny formed asexual reproduction are similar to their parent generation because it involves a single parent there no change of any change in genetical or morphological features
while as sexually formed progeny are progenies formed after fusion of gametes of two parents which can bring change in a progeny characteristic
because two parents share their gametes (character base).
hope you find it help full
