The sky seems like a big pool of grey smoke. The weather is cool, moist. A fresh, earthy smell hangs in the air.

Dark, ominous clouds gather.  A bolt of lightning flashes from the sky; a deafening thunderclap follows soon after. A sea of rain pours down to the ground. 

Young children dance with glee at the arrival of rain. They feel instantly invigorated. The rain brings water to the fields of the earth, making it fertile and arable. The flowers start to appear fresher and more beautiful than ever. Overall, rain helps the earth to prosper.
 
Life on earth would have had no meaning if rain did not exist. This is how, rain expresses its love for our mother earth, the only planet known to sustain life.
