❤Hey!❤

Resistance of a wire is inversely proportional to it's area of cross section that is when area of cross section increased the resistance decreases.

Thanks❤

Resistance of a wire vary with its area of cross section in following ways :----

  • We know that Resistance is the properties of Resistor convert electrical energy to heat energy .
  • Resistor is denoted by 'R'
  • where R = row *length /area
  • Resistance is inversely proportional to the area of wire .When area become large resistance become small vice - versa .
  • Resistance is inversely proportional to square of radius of circular wire .
  • the unit of Resistance is R
