Sarus is a non-migratory crane which is found in some parts of the Indian subcontinent.

As has been known till date, Sarus usually move in pairs.

However, all living beings try to provide better protection to their young ones.

So, when Sarus move around with their young ones, they usually move in groups of three or four.

This is done to ensure that no harm is caused to the younger Sarus.
