How does the sensitive plants show movement of leaves on being touched?

when leaves of sensitive plants as Mimosa pudica are touched there is a change in concentration of sodium and potassium ion which leads to change in the turgor pressure so the leaves shrink.

Movement in the sensitive plant occurs due to change in the amount of water in plant cells. this results in swelling or shrinking, which changes the shape of cells leading to movement
