"Tertiary sector or service sector plays a vital role in the development of the primary and secondary sectors. The tertiary sector doesn't produce any good but is involved in support for the production process.

For example, the goods "produced in the primary" sector as well as the secondary sector, needs to be "transported by trucks" or trains and then "sold in shops". Sometimes if the goods are perishable it must be stored with proper equipment and must be exported and transported.

The service sector also helps in the communication process through which the producers and "buyers and sellers" interact with each other.

Form the above concept it is clear that both the primary as well as the secondary sector are developed by the services such as transportation, communication, and banking provided by the service sectors. "
