How does the shredded ice converted into solide ice ball during the preparation of an ice ball

By using the property of ice that when pressure is applied it:' melting point decreases below 0℃ meaning at 0℃ it turns to water. When this pressure is released, it causes the melting point to come back to 0℃ and hence shredded ice converts into ice ball.
