How does the size of chest cavity change during inhalation and exhalation please answer me this easy and fast tell your own​

Hello friend

1) Inhalation

When we breathe in, our diaphragm moves downward and the ribs move upward and upward. Now there is space in our chest cavity and it moves upwards, covering the space.

2) Exhalation

During exhalation our muscles decreases the size of the chest cavity, now the chest cavity have do move downwards because there is no space left.
