Answer:

1.earthworms respiration process takes place through its moist, thin and highly vascular skin. The oxygen gas absorbed by the skin diffuses into the blood and transported to all the cells of the body. In the cells, oxygen is used up for oxidation of food. During this process, carbon dioxide is produced.

2.A principle of diffusion is that the molecules move around and will spread evenly throughout the medium if they can. However, only the material capable of passing through the membrane will diffuse through it. In this example, the solute cannot diffuse through the membrane, but the water can.

3. In a closed room, the supply of fresh air is almost negligible and since for burning oxygen is required. Due to the burning the available oxygen gets depleted and it leads to incomplete burning of coal and it leads to formation of carbon mono oxide which is very poisonous. ... Never sleep in a closed room with burning coal.

4..The difference between inspiration and expiration is, the inspiration is an active process where it brings air into the lungs while expiration is a passive process, which is the expulsion of the air out of the lungs.
