Sound produce when something vibrates . When the object vibrates it causes the medium ( air, water etc) to also vibrate. Vibration in air are called longitudinal waves, which we can hear . Sound waves consist areas of high and low pressure

Hey friend,
Sound waves are produced by vibration.
Let's understand in deep
Actually, a wave is a vibratory disturbance in a medium which carries energy from one point to another without there being a direct contact between the two points.
There are two types of waves: longitudinal waves and transverse waves.
Sound waves are longitudinal waves:
A wave in which the particles of the medium vibrate back and forth in the same direction in which the wave is moving, is called a longitudinal wave.
IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT LONGITUDINAL WAVES, THEN INBOX ME, MAY BE I CAN HELP.
BUT I WILL TRY MY BEST.
HOPE MY ANSWER WOULD BE HELPFUL TO YOU!!!☺☺
AND IF YOU LIKED MY ANSWER PLEASE MARK IT AS BRAINLIEST.
THANKS.
