Sound is also a form of kinetic energy. kinetic energy become faster when temperature increases. then molecules start vibrating faster then speed of sound wave increase.

when the temperature increases the speed of sound also increases as in high temperature particles will be set in motion so sound can move easily , the particles will have more kinetic energy
when the temperature decreases the speed of sound also decreases as in low temperature the kinetic energy of particles will be low
when the temperature decreases the speed of sound also decreases as in low temperature the kinetic energy of particles will be low
