The chinese Statue story actually about a statue which was owned by a british and was the family property.Whole family protect the statue and care it as they thought it was the real one and this was due to it's appearance. They never checked this statue. But at the end when the british man have to sell it then he comes to know that it was actually the fake statue and was not real. This reality was the really shock for him. So as the whole family thought the statue was real just because of it's appearance but the reality was not like that thus this explore theme appearance vs reality.
