Here in the story, " We're Not Afraid To Die.... If We Can All Be Together" the positive attitude of then narrator saved the Wavewalker and the crew. He made every possible efforts to safeguard the ship. He stretched the canvas and secured waterproof hatch covers across the gaping holes. He felt that the end was near, but he kept on struggling and making efforts. Consequently, they reached the shore safely.
