Answer:

The study of Monuments help historians because, when a historian wants to learn about some kind of civilization, For example Egypt, then, they will need somethings related to Egypt, So the first thing they collect is the information about Egypt from News papers, Books, And so on. But, these are the information giving things which are modern so they don't contain perfect type of information. But the monument? Yes they do. It's because, they are created many ayons ago. And they are created by the people of that civilization only. And, in that case, the carving on these monuments contain detail information about that civilization. That's why Historians study monuments.

Thanks!! Hope you found my information effective!
