How does the surface area of a cube is changed, if its edge its(i) alved (ii) doubled?​

Answer :

☑ The change in surface area when its edge is halfed ,

Let the edge be s

 = 6( \frac{1}{2} s) {}^{2}  \\  = 6( \frac{1}{4} s {}^{2} ) \\  =  \frac{3s { }^{2} }{2}

☑ When its edge is doubled

 = 6(2s) {}^{2}  \\  = 6(4s {}^{2} ) \\  = 24s {}^{2}
