How does the temp change as you get closer to the center of the earth?

Temperature increases as we move to the centre of the earth(equator) ,as we move closer the sun rays that comes to us covers less distance as compared to when they are at more distance to equator and so more heat is recieved while getting closer to centre and so temperature increases gradually as shown:
