ACROSS PERIOD THE ELECTROSTATIC FORCE OF ATTRACTION BETWEEN NUCLEUS AND ELECTRONS IS MORE SO IT DOES NOT LOOSE THEIR ELECTRONS EASILY AND THAT'S WHY THEIR SIZE DECREASES ACROSS PERIOD.

The tendency to lose electronsincreases when we move from top to bottom in a group. This is because theatomic size of the atoms increases doesn't the group and the valence shellelectrons increases due to which the nuclear power which the electroncloser to the nucleus decreases

priyam23102003: can you please correct it gramatically
