Answer:
Water and mineral nutrients are absorbed by roots from the soil. Nutrients are transported along with water to the entire plant via the vascular tissue called xylem. The vascular tissue for the transport of food to the various parts of the plant is phloem.

Answer:
Transport of water and minerals takes place in plant body with the help o xylem tissue. The water in the plant body is used up for many processes like photosynthesis or water is lost through the process of transpiration. When water is lost, there is a gap created and in turn a suction is created there due to low pressure. This creates a vaccum suction which causes the water to move and translocate. This process is known as the ASCENT OF SAP.
