anaerobic treatment gives high values for removal of organic component. It can be used for domestic wastewater (specially with high organic loading rate). In addition, it can be used in some industries like dairy industry with high OLR. In cases of industries containing toxic materials or trace elements, it is required to remove the toxic material in pre-treatment process because anaerobic bacteria is very sensitive to the toxic components. One of the most factors affecting the efficiency of the system is temperature, the suitable degree for the treatment is about 15-40°C.
