fuse wire is a main component of fuse, which is a safety device. the fuse wire is made up of lead and tin and also of copper which have low melting point. when the voltage becomes higher then the fuse wire breaks due to low melting point and thus the current flow stops , and saves the electrical appliances from being damage.
