Explanation:

fertilization occurs in the fallopian tube when the fusion of a male sperm and female sperm takes place. A zygote is formed due to this fusion and clings to the wall of the tube and starts dividing rapidly. Within 290 days (around 9 months ) the zygote develops into a baby.

the zygote immediately divides into two cells , these cells then divide again and again over the next couple of days as the cluster of cells make its way to the uterus. This cluster of cells is called embryo. It plants itself in the lining of the uterus.

It gradually develops body parts,such as head,eye,hands,legs,etc. The embryo at this stage,when all its body parts can be identified , is called foetus. The foetus when born is called Infant
