Hello dear
In the case a pure metals and alloys , the thermal conductivity predominantly depends on electronic effect . Thus , the thermal conductivity of a gas increases with increases in temperature . In liquids , as we have seen earlier , thermal conductivity depends predominantly on molecular diffusion effect .
