Hey hello friend !!!!

Tin ranks in 9th position in the reactivity series  .  It doesn’t react with oxygen or H2O(water) at room temperature but it reacts at high temperature and has the capacity from being corroded . It exists in the form of ore in nature (namely cassiterite) .

Tin is not much abundant in nature .  Currently tin is mainly being found in China, Indonesia, Peru, Brazil, and Bolivia .

Hope this helped u :-)

Answer:

Natural abundance

Tin is found principally in the ore cassiterite (tin(IV) oxide). It is mainly found in the 'tin belt' stretching through China, Thailand and Indonesia. It is also mined in Peru, Bolivia and Brazil. It is obtained commercially by reducing the ore with coal in a furnace.
