how does transpiration help in upward transport of substances

kanaklath7: transpiration helps in the loss of water, this starts a suction pull in that part. so the water below it comes to fill the space created by the evaporated water. then then water below this water comes to fill in its space and this continues till the roots and the roots absorb water fro. the soul to fill in the left over space

Answer:

When water is lost through transpiration there is a suction pull due to the low pressure in the plant, this force pulls the waters and minerals along with it. It is similar to when someone drinks juice from straws. The low pressure in the mouth forces the juice to come up the channel. Mark me as the best.
