How does transverse waves transfer energy? In longitudinal waves transfer of energy occur through collision of particles. But in transverse waves a similar process cannot occur .So how does it transfer energy?

the energy transfer through the transverse waves does not require any medium to travel and so can transfer energy without colliding of particle as in electromagnetic waves.
