Tube feet is used for movement, feeding and respiration by certain organisms whereas False feet are used by organisms only to catch their prey and sometime for locomotion.

Tube feet work like suction cups making use of hydraulic pressure. Sea urchins, sea cucumbers, sea stars etc., members of phylum Echinodermata, have Tube feet.

An amoeba, which is a unicellular protozoan, has False feet which is also known as Pseudopodia. These are temporary cytoplasm filled projections, used for mobility and ingestion of food particles.
