I feel that untouchability harms a society by just creating differences between the Brahmins,kshatriyas,and vaishyas with the sudras. The untouchables were never given the authority of anything,but were just ignored by the higher classes. The higher classes never respected the untouchables,and even practised injustice on them.All this culminated into a tug war between the untouchables and the higher classes,no attention was given to the untouchables.But thanks to Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar!
