Fuse wire is a safety device that helps to cut of connection from big appliances when they are in danger. Please mark as brainliest

Explanation:

When large amount of current flows through electrical appliances ,produces large amount of heat and therefore damaging the appliances. So if a fuse is fixed (it has iron wires which conducts electricity better) large amount of current flows from the wires to the fuse ,it produces so much heat that the iron wires melt and break of connection from the circuit.

Answer:

Fuse wire has high resistance than current rating of the main wiring. So, whenever there is a surge in electric current, the fuse wire melts and breaks the circuit. This prevents any damage to the electrical appliances. Thus, a fuse wire protect electrical appliances.
