Answer:

A safety fuse is made of a wire of metal having a very low melting point. When excess current flows in, the wire gets heated, melts and breaks the circuit. By breaking the circuit it saves electric equipment or installations from damage by excessive flow of current.

Answer:

fuse wire is made up of alloy of tin and lead having low melting point. when short circuit or over loading happen in the circuit more current will flow through fuse wire and it will melt so the circuit breaks and no more further current flow. hence it protect electrical installation
