Hello

  • A vaccine provides active immunity to particular disease. It works on the concept of "Memory".

⭕ It contains dead or weakened germs. When a vaccine is given to a person, the germs enter in his/her body which activates the immune system. Now the immune system makes antibodies of that germs. The antibodies destroy that vaccine germs in the same way as they would destroy the disease germs.

  • Now, the immune system recognizes that pathogen either bacteria or virus. They boost the immune system response to an illness.

⭕ In a nutshell," A vaccine provides artificially acquired active immunity."

Hope it Helps!
