Its value decreases as we move above the surface of earth or with height.
Its value also decreases As we move downward or in depth.
Its value is 9.8 at surface of earth

g is inversely proportional to height , that is if height increases value of g decreases and if depth ( decrease in height ) increases value of g decreases.
