That's because if more vegetation is present, oxygen supply increases.. and hence tries to keep the temperature moderate

The atmosphere deals in a pattern but when there are any external factor applied then the pattern can be disturbed.

This is mainly due to the water stress and radiation response that triggers the climatically condition of that region.
