More the viscosity , slower is the fluid speed.

Suppose you pour honey in a bowl and water in a bowl. You will observe honey takes more time than water because honey is a lot more viscous than water.

The viscosity depends on how fast or slow the fluid flows. As the temperature of the liquid increases, the particles of the liquid move faster and the viscosity decreases. If the temperature of liquid decreases, the particles slow down, which causes the viscosity to increase.
