HI

I AM RAJKAMAL.

THE WATER FROM THE SOIL IS ABSORBED BY THE ROOT HAIRS BY THE PROCESS OF OSMOSIS THEN FROM ROOT HAIRS THE WATER MOVES TILL ENDODERMIS AND THEN IT IS SENT TO XYLEM.

THE FUNCTION OF XYLEM IS TO TRANSPORT WATER AND MINERALS FROM ROOT TO OTHER PARTS OF PLANT .

SO THE WATER MOLECULES REACH THE LEAVES AND THIS WATER MOLECULES HELPS IN PHOTOSYNTHESIS.

Explanation:

Water is absorbed by roots from the soil and transported as a liquid to the leaves via Xylem .In the leaves ,small pores allow water to escape as a vapour.Of all the water absorbed by plants less than 5% remains in the plant for growth .
