how does water get cold in an earthen pot

Due to Evaporation causes cooling to its surroundings

simple because when you put water in earthen pot it becomes cold this due to earthen pot has pores outside and when water gets out of those pores it evsporates and we know evapora tion has a colling effect so water stays cool in earthen pot please follow me
