many nutrients and minerals are present in water

water carries nutrients which is present in the soil to the plant. xylem is a tissue which helps to carry water from the soil to the other parts of the plant.

Nanditta: What is the meaning of xylem
Nanditta: Thanks
crystinia: its a tissue (like a pipe) which helps the water to reach to all the parts of the plant from the roots.
