water pollution affect land animal because when the animal want to quinch their thirst then they go on any lake or rive etc...if the water is contaminated or polluted then its affects harmfull for animals...or whom quinch their thirst. nd in humans as same as animal if  humans drinks that contaminated or polluted water then its harmful for our health...we have to face many types of diseases.... in plants they have to take help of water for their growing...if the water is polluted then they do not grow properly...!!
