In hot desserts as the weather is warm n harsh so there will a need of large amount of water not for plants only but for animals n everyone...
Scarcity of water may cause many diseases such as dairehea, n it may cause weakness..
Secondly for plants it is necessary so that they can make there food n live there life as us

COLD DESSERT:
In cold dessert water is required too but if scarcity occurs then it will cause many harms...
If there is scarcity of water then plants will get to leave but animals can't ... Scarcity of water in winter will also cause diseases because in absence of pure water people will drink impure water
