You can check that wheather given solution is colloid or not by tindell effect..

Diff. b/w collide and true solution = colloide solution is that whose particle size is intermidiate b/w true solution and supsension i.e size b/w 1 to 1000 nm.
But particles of true solution has size less then 1 nm.
