1️⃣Bile juice is a digestive juice secreted by the liver.

2️⃣Although it does not contain any digestive enzymes, it plays an important role in the digestion of fats.

3️⃣Bile juice has bile salts such as bilirubin and biliverdin.

4️⃣These break down large fat globules into smaller globules in the small intestine so that the pancreatic enzymes can easily act on them.

5️⃣This process is known as emulsification of fats.

6️⃣Bile juice also makes the medium alkaline and activates lipase.

1)The liver produces bile which Emusilfies fats i.e. break them down into small droplets for a larger surface area. This will increase the rate at which the fat is digested by lipase.

2) Bile also neutralizes the acid produced by the stomach to provide normal conditions for the enzymes present in the small intestine.

hope this helps you
