How dose carbon dioxide help in extinguishing fire????? plz help me guys...............​

Carbon dioxide extinguishes work by displacing oxygen, or taking away the oxygen element of the fire triangle. The carbon dioxide is also very cold as it comes out of the extinguisher, so it cools the fuel as well.

fire burns with the help of oxygen when CO2 is blowed in it replaced by CO2 O2 get erected or get low in quantity therefore extinguisher reacts with air and closes the fire.
