Portia saved Antonio by defending him by telling Shylock that in the bond it was only mentioned that Shylock could take a pound of flesh from any part of Antonio's body but it was not mentioned that when Shylock would cut Antonio to take the flesh blood would come pouring out so, she told Shylock that it would be against the bond if even a single drop of blood comes out of Antonio's body .
Hence, Antonio was saved.
