How doy ou solve 2v−4+2(4v+6)=−2(v+5)?

Solution:

2v−4+2(4v+6)=−2(v+5)

=>2v-4+2(4v+6)+2(v+5)=0

=> 2v-4+8v+12+2v+10=0

=> 2v+8v+2v-4+12+10=0

=>(2+8+2)v+18=0

=> 12v=-18

=> v = (-18)/12

=> v = (-6×3)/(6×2)

After cancellation,we get

=> v = -3/2

Therefore,

v = -3/2
