In Southern region, drought leads to water scanty and it results the agricultural drought which means farming is not practiced due to defecient of water and crop production is impossible due to absence of moisture in soil. Some water reselient crops were sowed but it didn't fetch the high yield so farmers become bankrupt and cannot repay the loan on time.
