Gravity is not simply 'formed' I believe. The answer to this question goes far beyond the current understanding of physics. Sure gravity is present when there are two or more objects  that exert opposing forces towards each other. Or a object that has mass will exert a gravitational field and will cause all matter nearby to accelerate towards it. But how is it formed in the first place?

Well this question would be no easier than answering "Where did my existence come from, and is the world actually real or just an imaginary perception?" We live in a universe that humans have discovered follow a consistent set of laws, which are indestructible and always correct, and if we find a flaw we just improve it or discard it completely. Well gravity is one of the laws that the universe follows (to our current understanding at least). If you are a religious believer you could say that God has created the universe and placed these set of laws, including gravity, that allow us to live our everyday lives. So gravity isn't just formed... it's always there. And it has been around since the start of time and will go on till the end of time, unless we find more clues about our mysterious, unexplored universe.

Back to general physics, if you're looking for a simple answer. The more mass an object has the more force it is going to exert towards you. We don't feel this force for small objects such as your phone, house, truck or even a mountain. But the Earth is definitely exerting a force of 9.81N on you right now, which is being pulled by the gravity of the sun, which is following the local cluster, which is following around the Milky Way..
