Heya!!
----------------------------------
One day, Einstein had a thought experiment. If Sun disappears suddenly what will happen? According to classical physics and Newtonian view, Earth will move out of solar system (tangential).
But Einstein had a doubt on it. According to his Special Relativity, nothing can move faster than speed of light (299,792,458 m/s). Then how gravity can in 0 sec.
He explained tht it will take abt 8 min (because gravitational waves have also a speed same to light).
There are many other experiments.
I'm not sure on my answer. If I'm wrong then correct m plz.
Hope it helps uh!

GR or GTR refers to General Relativity or General Theory Of Relativity.
Einstein published his famous papers of Special Relativity in 1905. It was abt relativistic mechanics in inertial frame of reference.
Then Einstein thought abt non Inertial frame of reference, hence accelerated one.
He thought everything in this universe is accelerated (by gravity).. So this theory is also known as theory of gravity.
He had a thought experiment of Sun disappearance as explained above. Many experiments also proved it right.
This is one of the strongest branch of modern physics as it includes higher mathematics.
Thanks!!
