Elections contribute to environmental pollution in the following ways:
1) use of loudspeakers for announcements and for advertisements of the candidate contributes to noise pollution.
2) use of vehicles and conducting rallies on vehicles cause noise as well as air pollution, which is again a problem.
3) printing and distributing pamphlets for advertisement and support for the candidate contribute in land pollution. As these pamphlets only increase the garbage.
