A windmill works with the help of the wind. Its blades are designed so that they move when the wind blows over it. These blades are attached to a long rod. The rod has a iron core and there is a outer casing over it. This casing has magents. This rod and the casing assembly is commonly known as turbine. When the blades turn, they turn the rod attached to it and this creates electricity!!!
