hai

Ethanoic acid can turn moist blue litmus red, but ethanol will not respond to moist litmus. Ethanoic acid is better known as acetic acid, which is the common product of the oxidation ofethanol. When you leave wine lying around for a while in open air, it turns to vinegar. The very difference is in chemical structure.
